It was a nice starting the last session so I hoped the same for the second and I was right. First Ana told us about a project*. After that, we played with “Loop Cards” in reference to Christmas; it’s a good way of starting to feel confidence in English. Later she showed us a website plenty of resources www.dreamenglish.com and introduced Matt’s songs. He was quite funny and kids like that.
Sandra and Eila presented their boxes of themselves. I knew them before coming to this class so it wasn’t a surprise their objects. But it helped me to think which objects can describe me. I couldn’t bring my box because I moved my new flat recently and I didn’t have too much there. Next, Ana exposed the popular English festivities.
Then, she told the story of Gingerbread man with a power point, after listening it we cut the fingers of latex gloves to do puppets about the characters of the story. Look the picture down it was a disaster I didn’t know how to draw but it was a good idea to work with kids. Another way to work the story could be making a map of the places where the story happened. It helped to remember the story and showed at home to the parents including the puppets. Lastly we had a look in the activity gingerbread bar graph to see how liked the story.
To finish the session we did a level exam to see our English. It was so much fun this session.
